Hiring Students and Temporaries

To hire students and temporaries you will need to work with Mike Bent. Mike will need a completed copy of the Employment Status Adjustment Request Form located on the Plant Sciences website at https://plantscionly.missouri.edu/forms under the Human Resources section. Temporary employees are required to pass a criminal background check before beginning work, so please make sure you include the employee’s name and contact information when forwarding Mike the Employment Status Adjustment Request Form so he can contact the employee and get the CBC set up. Mike will work with the CAPS center to coordinate all the necessary paperwork to get the employee into the system in a timely manner. Please remember a candidate may not begin work until their offer is approved and all their paperwork has been completed.
